What is Naturezest?
Naturezest is an organic, Kiwi-made product for lush healthy growth and productive gardens.
Naturezest helps you grow healthier indoor plants, flowers, fruit and vegetables.
Naturezest is made from plant extracts and boosts your plants’ ability to produce natural compounds called phenylpropanoids (sometimes called polyphenols).
These compounds help plants resist damage, overcome stress and produce better quality foliage, fruit and flowers and are the healthy compounds found in the plant-based foods we eat like spices, vegetables, wine and chocolate!
Phenylpropanoids are natural, bioactive compounds produced by plants that are good for your plants and good for you too!
The Naturezest Story
Naturezest was invented in New Zealand by Nathan, a biotechnologist who, in a former life, worked for a large multi-national chemical company. Nathan had an idea that had been sloshing around in his head since his Massey University research days for cleaner, safer alternatives to fertilisers and pesticides.
Spurred on by the scientific discoveries over the last 30 years, Nathan developed his idea and produced a clean, safe agricultural compound called Agrizest.
Kiwifruit growers in New Zealand were getting great results with Agrizest which helped them produce lots of beautiful, tasty fruit.
A few kiwifruit growers began putting Agrizest on their gardens too.
One day one of these growers said “Hey Nathan! This stuff’s great for my flowers and veggies why don’t you make a version for home gardeners too?”
So he did!
Naturezest is an easy to mix, easy to apply version of Agrizest that is suitable for all garden plants. Naturezest will give you the same great results and help you grow a beautiful, bountiful garden!
How Does Naturezest Work?
When you mist your plants with Naturezest droplets land on the leaves. The droplets are ‘read’ by the plant and, in response, the plant produces natural, beneficial compounds that make your plants stronger, healthier and more productive.
Naturezest droplets trick the plant into thinking it is under attack – without causing any damage. The plant responds by naturally strengthening its repair, growth and defence system – or immune system. This means when the plant is really attacked or under stress (like pest attack, drought or frost) the plant is stronger and better prepared to cope with the stress and recover sooner. Naturezest is like a home gym for your plants.
Naturezest is not a hormone spray, fortified seaweed or fertiliser.
The compounds the plant produces to strengthen its system are called Phenylpropanoids (also known as polyphenols) which are a range of bioactive compounds, naturally produced by all plants.
Phenylpropanoids support the repair, growth and defence (immune) systems of plants and help your plants produce healthy leaves and better fruit, vegetables and flowers
Examples include lignin and suberin to harden cells and produce crunchier fruit, flavanoids for improved flavour, anthocyanins for high colour and coumestrol and other oils to repair damage.
