Dry Stock Farms

Grow more feed. Finish stock faster. Lift profitability.

More Gain / Better Utilisation / Less Waste

Built for New Zealand grazing systems. Proven on farm.

Different farms. Same pressure points:

  • Inconsistent pasture growth limiting stocking rate

  • Poor pasture quality slowing weight gain

  • Seasonal stress (dry, cold, wet) reducing performance

  • High finishing costs and longer time to sale

  • Underutilised feed left behind or wasted

You don’t get paid for grass grown.
You get paid for grass converted into liveweight gain.

What Biozest Does

  • Not a fertiliser. Not a hormone. Not a microbial.

Biozest switches your pasture on — and improves how efficiently animals convert pasture to weight gain.

It works by activating plant metabolic pathways that:

    • Increase pasture growth and recovery

    • Improve feed quality and palatability

    • Lift energy utilisation by livestock

    • Reduce waste and improve grazing efficiency

“Cattle grazing on Biozest treated pasture have averaged 20kg more than those which didn't.”

— Jaydon, John and Michelle Cameron, Northland

Proven Results on Dry Stock Farms

  • +89% increase in dry matter (kg DM/ha) and significantly improved baleage yield

  • Increased pasture palatability, leading to higher dry matter intake

  • Improved pasture performance under stress conditions (frost, drought and waterlogging)

  • Improved stock condition and sale value (stud bulls returned an additional $1,645 per bull at sale)

  • Reduced environmental impact of farming, including a reduction in urinary nitrogen, supporting lower nitrate leaching and greenhouse gas emissions

How Biozest Fits Your System

Biozest is simple to integrate:

  • Applied as a foliar spray

  • Works alongside your existing fertiliser programme

  • Flexible timing depending on growth goals

  • Suitable for beef, sheep, deer and mixed systems

Use it to:

  • Push growth when conditions allow

  • Maintain performance through stress periods

  • Improve feed conversion during finishing

  • Hay & Silage Production

Boost dry matter and yield with targeted applications.

    Application guide:

    • Apply 2 sprays before paddock lock-up

    • For second cuts, reapply 3–5 days after the first cut

    Beef, Sheep & Deer Farms

Support consistent pasture performance and feed quality across the season.

    Application guide:

    • Rate: 1 L/ha (in 20–500 L water)

    • Start: 2 sprays, 3–5 days apart

    • Ongoing: Apply once per season (spring, summer, autumn, winter) or as required

    Stock Finishing Paddocks

For higher-performance paddocks where feed quality and utilisation are critical.

    Application guide:

    • Rate: 1 L/ha (in 20–500 L water)

    • Start: 2 sprays, 3–5 days apart

    • Ongoing: Apply 3–5 days after each grazing

    Choosing the right approach

    • Hay & Silage: maximise yield and dry matter

    • General grazing: maintain steady pasture performance

    • Finishing paddocks: drive higher animal performance from premium feed

  • Fill sprayer tank with water.

Shake Biozest container several times to reconstitute content.

Add Biozest & rinse container into tank.

    Agitate thoroughly before spraying.

Compatibility with additional products must be tested prior to application.

Biozest can be applied using any spray equipment: knapsack sprayers, C-Dax, Tractor, Tow and Fert, Blast Sprayer, drone or Helicopter (water rate may be as low as 20 litres per hectare when applied via helicopter or drone).

The water rate can be varied to suit your spray equipment – the application rate should always be 1 Litre of Biozest per hectare.

Biozest should be applied to pasture that is as dry as possible.

Biozest is effective on contact so it is not a problem if it rains immediately after application.

If the pasture is damp keep the water rate as low as possible.

Spray today. Graze today. No worries.

Farmer Testimonials

  • Round bales in paddock

    Justine Fox, Thames

“Just bailed one of the Biozest paddocks into silage.

The most bales we have ever got out of one of those paddocks is thirty. We just got 45 bales out of it !!

78 bales off the treated paddocks last night compared to my 32 (untreated). Pretty much the same area.”

  • Dry stock farmer in paddock with stock

    John and Michelle Cameron, Northland

“If the stock are happy we are happy, The calves have grown rapidly with their mothers’ milk appearing to have a thicker consistency which would seem to be giving better nutritional value. Our pasture appears denser with better nutritional value as well.

Cattle grazing on Biozest treated pasture have averaged 20kg more than those which didn't.”

  • Ewe with lambs

Matt, King Country Dry Stock Farmer

"the (control) lambs and ewes were nowhere near as good a condition as the other mob.

At docking which was 20th September, it was clear to me that the Biozest had definitely made an effect on the condition of both the ewe and lambs."
