Our Organic Journey
Our technology evolved from an idea in a lab at Massey University to a range of transformational products produced right here in NZ!
Our story began in a lab at Massey in 1972 when Zest Biotech founder, Nathan Balasingham, was carrying out research for his Master's degree.
It took several decades and a heck of a lot of persistence but we brought our first product, Agrizest (for vine and tree crops), to the market in 2006. We now have a range of 4 products for orchards, annual crops and flowers, home gardeners and, perhaps most importantly, for farmers - to increase productivity and reduce waste (i.e. urea/nitrates and greenhouse gases).
We've come a long way and we're excited about what we can achieve in the future!
